Ship Info to Coriolis?

Okay so i now have an INARA account and the ED Market connector both working. I can get updates with the EDMC and an API string on INARA. INARA has all my info correct it seems. So Now how do I import my ship info to Coriolis? I just dont get it. I need a hand holding walk-thru. Sorry guys. :S

I tried to copy a JSON file then paste to the Coriolis Import window but the Paste function is greyed out. Obviously I havent done something correctly.

I don't know about INARA but it is VERY easy to import your ships from EDSM.net (Elite Dangerous Star Map).

1. Setup your EDSM.net account
2. Connect your EDSM.net account to EDMC.
3. Play the game with EDMC running and your data will be imported into EDSM.net
4. In EDSM click on your fleet, then click on [See Ship Details]
5. Once in the ship details screen there is a Coriolis button

This is the way I have been auto-importing my builds into Coriolis for a long time. INARA may be able to do the same but I am not certain. EDSM is nice too if you are exploring as it tracks all of the systems you have visited and plots them on a 3d map of the galaxy.

With EDMC click the ship name in the EDMC overlay and it will export the ship build to the shipyard you have designated in the EDMC settings.

The limitation here is it must be your current ship.

Gotcha, installed that and it is running and linked in but EDSM is not showing anything that I have done, where I am in the map or have been. Or my fleet at all? Also the Coriolis is not updating my ship(That I am currently using) I pluged in the information(Mods) myself? What am I missing?

I think I just found the problems, different folders were created in places I didn't know about and plugins did not get there. I think it might be going to work now, set the APIKey for NDSM and created an inara account. Still not sure about the coriolis working but I figure it out. Thanks for your help.

I like INARA, it is set out very clearly. You can set it to take your ship details from EDDiscovery and others.

It is also helpful for identifying nearby markets for mined materials, such as void opals.

I just got it installed as the thread show and looking it over it looks pretty nice, I would like it if coriolis would store all the ships and be able to compare to others in the game so I would know if I am setting them up well. I've only been playing about a week so far and only in Solo mode to get it down before I go in

You could learn a lot from the Ships & Engineers folder. Especially if you read some of the posts in the Owners Club threads further down the first page and beyond

I will as soon as I get a chance, time is the one thing I don't have much of. I knew this game was big but wow it seems there is a lot of support for it. Just listening to the news reports is cool to me haha. Got a feeling it is going to take a while to understand it all.
