Ship intact, thrusters 0% health... options?

If you cannot move then simply yes.

If you can move the ship and have a docking computer you may stick a chance of docking..

Not sure if there is anything you can do, but I have a question: How did you get your thrusters to 0% health? I'm assuming combat, but am interested if it is wear and tear as I plan to go exploring again soon...

Are you close to a dock? Someone might be able to push you into a landing. They will have to be quick though :D

there kinda is, its called repair unit, you can buy it.

though i would also encourage FDEV to develop that kinda ship (with refuelling abilities too would be perfect).

Would ad an other role to the game!

In answer to all, I just killed a wanted conda with a 88k bounty, and he hit me just where it hurts at his death. I'm about 7ls from dock. Ship wont move at all. I have 8t of Vega slime weed plus 150k in bounties to claim.

If anyone wants the slime weed, I'm at the nav beacon in ross 730.

Yes but whos has 250k to spend? well unless you are rich.

It would be great if there was a RAC/AA call out for stranded ships to be towed. Just think a 10k Towing fee, or self destruct?

Personally I would have 10k tow

You could always eject it and come back for it later. G/L mate hope bill doesn't sting too much

I hate to say it, and pray I'm wrong, but I believe your hosed. This same issue happened to me on the borders of a War Zone. I had no recourse but to pop myself. I truly hope I am mistaken and someone has a solution for you.

Just a question, does it mean you lose all your bounties as well? I always thought they went to pilot and not ship.

I self destructed... 90k ship cost, 150k bounties lost, and 20k cargo lost. I'm going to invest in a repair unit before venturing out again.

Losing your ship wipes out any unclaimed bounties and combat bonds. Otherwise they would just give you credits direct to your account. You have to survive to cash in.

IMHO this is what makes the Cobra the ultimate Bounty hunter ship. It has so many internal component slots that if you don't plan to do any hauling with it you can replace the cargo space with all the 007 gadgets ED has. Upgraded life support and an onboard repair unit can get you out of a lot of sticky situations.
