Ship integrity

At one point I stumbled into the Advanced Repair (?) and was able to restore the paint job on my AspX. I've been in the black for 3.5 weeks at this point and the paint job is well worn... Is it trying to tell me something about overall ship integrity? Is that even a thing in Odyssey? Should I be heading in?

All Ship Integrity does is affect your hull damage % value. So the lower your ship integrity is the more damage you take when your hull is damaged either by weapon fire or hitting something.

Hull integrity is fine, and now I'm very glad I have Shields with me for those rough landings! Thanks!

At 0% integrity, your ship has 30% less hull, (more accurately, it’s 30% more susceptible to hull damage) and it never gets worse than that. Integrity slowly lowers with time spent in super cruise.

Paint wear is a product of time spent in supercruise the only adverse effect is to the appearance of your ship and any decals, name and ID plates on it.

Some consider a well worn paint job as an indicator of time playing and ability to avoid rebuys.

Yes it is still a thing in Odyssey my current ship that I hunt bios in is down to about 7% paint.
