I know it’s not something that is planned for elite, but would like to see in a future update. Would be a great addition to the game an would add a more in-depth feel to the ships an for crew. I’m sure I am not the only one that would love to see this added an is something I hope will be considered!
General Ship interior

This is the first I've heard of such a proposal
Actually most of the original content was planning for ship interiors this video shows more than half of the developers wanting ship interiors themselves. just saying
feels like they are trying to forget what theve said
Still it might be important to indicate that major part of the community would like to see ship interiors implemented. And also contribute ideas of which gameplay mechanics might benefit from having ship interiors. One day it will overweight the cost of implementing the feature and we will see it.

I can go anywhere inside and out, and it adds a ton of immersion. Ironic that I find a Lego space game more immersive than ED because of ship interiors. It really changes the feel of the game! That said, Space Engineers gives me things to do in these spaces. If these were just cosmetic, then I'd find them less immersive.
