Lovely maybe next time though, don't have the colour of the kit add ons be black then put the ship against a star scape?

Will make lots of people happy, I reckon.

All hands to battle stations.. this is not a drill!

Well great. Still people will combat log on me. Work my faction from solo or pg and the devs will do ***** about it. I always bought those things... first time I will vote with my money. No money for you FDEV
Oh boy, the nation will be on tenterhooks. First Trump pulling out of the Paris agreement, and now this.

Imagine if the FdL kit came with a bubble canopy to remove that ludicrous design flaw.

They'd sell like hot cakes.

I just...am glad that people who like buying ship kits can buy these ship kits and hopefully contribute to the future of ED- like hiring another designer to make new ships that I can buy with in-game credits so that Frontier can make new ship kits so people can buy ship kits to help contribute to ED so they can hire another designer so...well you get the idea ;)

PARKLIFE!

I own both ships, but I really don't think these add much to the original designs. You could make the case that they can degrade the overall look. Especially the FDL, which I have always considered the best looking ship design in the game.

Will be passing on these... I did buy the Anaconda and Python kits, but over time I have ended up removing all but a few pieces on each ship. Hard to argue with the original designs when you really get down to it. ;)

I personally think the SPIKE (Reaver) kits make more sense, since they are a radical departure from the original designs. Not just some LEGO blocks you stick here and there and which don't really work in a lot of cases with the original lines of the ship.

CAUTION: Already, threads are being posted regarding the poor quality control of the new Corvette ship kit! Apparently paints/skins are not mapping correctly on the new pieces. And all for only $12 US. Great work, FDev! (ironic 07)

Can't say I'm surprised. There are still similar issues with other kits issued months ago now. Another reason why I have pulled off most of the LEGO blocks from my Conda and Python. Sick of the paint jobs failing to match up properly, and making the add-on pieces look even more TACKED ON than they already do.

It always amazes me that the community can find all these issues within 90 minutes of a new release, yet Frontier can mess with this stuff internally for apparently months and never notice anything wrong with any of it.

This raises that 3 year old question... Does Frontier ever bother to TEST new in-game assets, add-ons before releasing them to the community? The evidence would suggest the answer is no.
