Horizons Ship Question (Imperial Eagle)

Hay Guys CMDR Legion here!

I've returned with another small qeastion upon the Imperial Eagle, now in the past I have brought it, due to I love Imperial Ships (Cuz I love futuristic Luxury stuff). However I removed it, due to I found it too weak, but note, I didn't really A-Rate it.

So my qeastion is what do you use your I-Eagle for?, and along with that qeastion, is it a good Fighter Ship at all?, I kown the Lance, is the King of Combat (I will get it at some point), but for this ship atm, How great is it?

Thanks

Legion

P.S I do apologize if this is in the wrong place, I come from Warframe Forms, so still learning the knacks of this one.

Greetings! The iEagle is a decent little ship, and it can shine in an RES due to it's speed. Being able to quickly engage and disengage is very important in a small ship such as this.

I think it's more of a stepping stone ship than what I would call a Legacy ship (something you stick with through thick and thin) but I'm sure there are some out there that love it to death.

If you're interested in pure kill-performance in a small ship though, the Vulture is the ship to beat! (IMO)

The imperial Eagle is a great ship if you enjoy punching well above your weight, great speed and the cockpit feels amazing in virtual reality - It's also my main canyon run ship, so much fun.

> Yeah? Huh, have to give it another look. I really like the Viper for canyon runs, very fast, high accel/decell rate too. iEagle's cockpit is way better though, true!

Perhaps a bit late to the party, but I mainly use mine for combat and missions (despite having both an FDL and an Anaconda, but small ships are fun to fly). For combat, I've got my iEagle completely A-rated with pulse lasers underneath, plasma accelerator on top and a chaff, works surprisingly well even against large ships (just note that the plasma might not work nowadays, the top hard point hatch is bugged, and pushed further down into the body of the ship, so most fixed weapons fitted there can't actually shoot because of obstructed line of site). Plasma accelerator takes off a good 10-20% off the hull of large ships, but due to the iEagles small size and agility, you can hit subsystems from point-blank range pretty easily if your aim is good, with a completely devastating effect. Might not be the best build ever, but it sure is fun flying around shooting blue balls of death on anything that moves! The fact that it's the 2nd fastest ship in the game (463 top speed on a speed build, Cobra is 464) also means you can get out of trouble pretty easily if risk of death should arise. I've also seen some people use it as a stealth-oriented combat ship, with surprisingly good results.

I've also put my Imperial Eagle to other uses too... :D
