Ship Recommendation for Pacifiers

I almost have pacifiers (4th week) and trying to decide my next combat/fun ship. I already have corvette/cutter and more than 1 billion CR in bank account so money/rank is not a concern but fun. Could you give me a ship recommendation to dogfight with pacifier?

I have the following options in my mind. I love Vulture's agility (and incoming 2 slots buff will be awesome) but Chiftain/FAS options really confuse me however I read something about drift issues :rolleyes:

I much prefer flying my Chieftain over my Krait for combat, but the Krait is still fun (I have 3 Pacifiers on it and still trying to settle on what for the 2 mediums). Build it similar to your Chieftain link and it will have a little more shields and a little less hull than the Chieftain. When I read jousting in your OP though I thought of how easily the Krait boosts with minimal pips, and 3 Pacifiers is better than 2! Can also run a fighter bay if you want. It's a very capable combat ship and FA off with pretty much free boosts non stop does a lot for maneuvering.

I'll take a look, thanks. It's not an issue to buy and test the ship, but the most annoying thing is that I couldn't really test it without engineering :confused:

I'd let you take mine for a spin if I could! Have you built a Chieftain yet? If not, and this is just my personal opinion on what I like to fly the most, I'd say go Chieftain first. An engineered Chieftain is a true joy for combat. I'm only talking PVE as well, I generally run from all PVP.

Ya I definitely prefer Chieftain over FAS. I ran an FAS for a little bit before Chieftain was ever out, and didn't like it much then though when plenty of people did, so I might not be the best person to give FAS opinions.
