Hi Cmdr's.

So there are a lot of great resources for ED giving a lot of technical information, however, I was wondering where all this technical information can be found in-game? For example, I was recently trying to work out how to find the base hull mass of various ships but apart from consulting sites like Coriolis or ED Wiki, where would you find the information within the game? The information must reside somewhere for others to have provided it, I am just baffled as to where it is.

Can anyone help?

You would build up your database of information from the Outfitting details for indvidual ships at shipyards as you travel around. There is no go-to database within the game.

This is, however, likely to be one of the subjects that the new CODEX will cover when (if) it emerges at the Q4 update (3.3).

That is somewhat helpful, but then you need to be at a station that sells all the ship you want information on. Which can be tricky to find if you do not have access to founders world.


I would love to have an onboard wiki page on galnet. where you could check out stuff, browse stats, check your fleet, etc, etc. simply go crazy data mining stats inside the game. Hopefully we get the codex soon and stuff like this.
