Ship storage expansion

I do a spreadsheet about all the ships that are available in Elite series here - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1dLTkTWJ8RQr_mef_ZCm1eBt-frx2jvEwFlaPN0QQNDw/edit?usp=sharing
So I need to get at least one of every kind of ship to test it a give stats in my spreadsheet.

We get a lot new ships and we are getting more. There is now 42 types and another 3 are coming this year. I personally collect every one ship - one specimen of each type on my fleet carrier and now there is more than I can hold on my fleet carrier at once.

Suggestion: extend storage space for ships to allow all kinds to have at least one spot on fleet carrier.

EDIT: forgot to add that it was done in the past every time the number of ship types available for purchase went over the number of spots to store them on one station/fleet carrier

I take you don't know about the escape pod, or that you can deploy an Arx ship?

If you have 40 ships on a carrier you can use the escape pod to get to a station, hop into another ship, land on the carrier and hey presto 41/40...
I never heard of that til now, a nice workaround but I'm still with OP. Though to be fair, the landing pads do take up a significant area of the fleet carrier so it's not unreasonable to wonder where all of the stored ships actually go..
