Ship Stuck in a Station Entrance

For some reason, I always smile when the station starts killing folks. If you do, too, then you'll enjoy my brief video below.

Enjoy!!!!

I was there when the same thing occurred, a Type 9 getting stuck - problem was, I was exiting the station, and didn't see it until I entered the airlock!

I tried backing out, but as soon as I left the airlock again, the station targeted *me* for illegally entering the station. I put the thrusters on full and rammed the tail of the Type 9, hoping to turn it or at least scrape by it.

No dice, lost the ship. I wasn't angry, though, I was laughing. That thing plugged the entrance -real good-.

I hope they never fix this bug , it's very entertaining, lol.

Those station managers... having ships explode inside your precious docking entrance seems like such a sensible solution over sending out a tug.

I've gotten stuck before trying to boost/plow past ships. I've always managed to shimmy my way free before getting shot at, though.

lol Yeah guys, I'm positive in real life that space stations wouldn't be so gung-ho. I mean, really think about the situation in my video; a large transport gets stuck in the entrance, they're given seconds to get unstuck, and before too long the station opens fire. The ship explodes, killing the crew, and any crews or civilians that happen to be near that area of the station will be dead or damn near dead. It would be a literal travesty, and the media would be showing the actions of that station's irresponsible and cruel officers all over the galaxy.

But, it's a mechanic I agree with in this game. In real life, I'd be sickened. In this game, it's amusing (when it happens to someone else) and it keeps commanders from just blocking the entrance. So, it's all cool as far as I'm concerned.

Glad you enjoyed :D
