Ship system control API + support for multi monitor gaming - possible ?

Guys this post is actually meant for moderator / dev’s as an open proposal for couple of smaller features – I would be glad to get community feedback on this though.

Just don’t hold my English skills against me - it’s really not my primary language

Feature / Enhancement 1 – ship system controls

Guys I’m quite sure that you have seen crazy cockpit builds like this one:

More over there are many more good build’s, especially in Sim (iracing / falcon AF) communities.
Some of us builder and normal players, who would like to build such cockpits - would honestly benefit from some kind of command and control API for ship systems.

If possible I would love to see some code build to allow me direct control over ships ie modules. Read ship status or list possible sub system of my targets etc.
This would allow:
- Adding some scripts for repetitive tasks (i.e. refinery control)
- Build fully immersive cockpits and just improve game quality for a lot of us.

Feature / Enhancement 2 – Proper Eyefinity support

Currently FD supports occuls rift which is yet to come, but support for multi monitor gaming is a bit poor. What I’m getting at is that multi monitor users could use option to render each viewport separately (something similar to Iracing implementation maybe ?)

And possibility to alter the in-cockpit camera positions

Any thoughts?
