Ship to large?

I have been down to Sothis and doing quite well in Type 6 and Python, in fact made enough to get and outfit an Annaconda.
I am crap at driving and managed to hit the letterbox every time I left the station.

My reason for the post
When trying to get a delivery mission I get the message that my ship is to large, even though I have delivered to those stations before, I know that thay have got large pads.
Any ideas?

Some of the missions are to outposts. No large pads there.

The msg only appears if the destination is an outpost and you are flying a large pad ship. All other stations and surface ports have large pads.

The mission is probably asking you to deliver to an outpost sized station. Outposts can only dock small and medium sized ships. Your Anaconda is considered a large ship.

You sit up really high on the Anaconda, most of the ship is below you. When going through the slot, you should be high, so it looks like you're going to almost scrape the top. You'll get used to it after a bit.

Thats why I love the Python, can deal with any mission!, Conda only can land in large pads

Thanks I will get another one and persevere with the flying.
I will do my last run when I get one more mission in the Type 6. which is a bit of a let down from the Python that I kept getting interdicted in I keep stopping to fight and always loose to a FAS or Elite Python

If you have a python why are you doing missions in a type 6?

I think he means he went from a type 6 to a Python. Or he losing his Python to many time while in combat. So he went back to a type 6.

For my self. I went from a Cobra to Asp Explorer to Python to Anaconda in a few days.

Yes I went from a type 6 to Asp Explorer to Python to Annaconda in the same time scale.
So now I will try the Python again.

I had another thread on if to get a type 6 or Python, and had very mixed answers so it's realy personal preference.
And I haven't been playing that long to have the experience that many of you have got, so I thank you all for the help.

Sell anaconda, buy Python back, upgrade it with engineers and you'll feel better.
