Shipping ships.

We can have ships transfer to a station if docked at present station but sure would be nice if we had the option of transferring to a place of ones choosing.

It is time consuming having to fly to a station or wait for a transfer to complete.

Maybe we eventually get this option?

You can always do something while it's transfers. Missions, bounty hunting, material farming, etc.
Or, plan ahead, and set something transfering before you log off.

:)

I do support the idea of sending ships to ports. Logistically a nightmare though. :p

I agree, if I can order it to the station I'm at when I get there why can't I ship it ahead of time besides time sink inflation? If I move out of state, I can have my stuff waiting for me when I get there....

Is it though? Seems to me they just need to add a route to galmap from the transfer ship ui, and usual rules apply as far as exploration data/known systems blah blah blah. Be hard to send your ship to a station you don't know exists, so I'm cool with that.

That is how I was thinking if able to ship ships, to a bookmark would be good enuf. It's kind of a hassle having ships park all over the place.

I too would like to see this option. You can pick from billions of star systems off the galaxy map. Why not incorporate ship transfer into that same system? Basically calling ahead and setting up a transfer to a system you are heading to. Would be nice to find your other ship waiting for you when you got there. :)

I wish I was English like my hero Tj.
Interesting. I wouldn't be opposed to something like that, but I'm not sure it would really be all that beneficial either.
