Horizons Ships Call Sign

Ok. Someplace I saw something that would let me change the way the stations identify me when giving me instructions.

I found the place in LIVERY where I can change the ship name and the ship ID.

But, the stations aren't using the ship ID or name anyway so that must not be the place I need to be.

It's in options. Might be Audio options.

It is in the option menu. It will still only do the Manufacturer and the first 3 letters of the ship name.

You get three choices in Options Audio

Ship name first three letters
ID letters/numbers first three
your commander name first three letters

I hope this is something in the list of REQUESTED FEATURES..

At least in the USN the standard was to use the ships name or the ships hull number.

Aviation uses the planes tail number or it's flight number.

Military aviation in the fixed wing world uses the plane commanders "handle".

The ships/planes manufacturer was irrelevant.
