Hi all, I've raised the following issue with the Elite Dangerous technical team and they have asked me to try something see below if anyone out there can help or has experienced the same issue.
Basically if you fly to an asteroid belt around any planet that has one then fly to the dark side of the moon "
good album" and fly up to an asteroid and switch the ships lights on it should show on the asteroids surface lighting it up but it isn't it only lights up the smaller particles wizzing by in space and even these are just plain white with no light shading.
I'm in a sidewinder still! as I'm trying to build credits for a bigger ship and the technical team have asked me to try to see if this occurs in other types of available vessels.
if you have a Hauler or Cobra or anything bigger than a sidewinder could you see if your lights actually create a lighting effect when directed at an asteroid please  many thanks in advance Cam
