Very strange question, because it just happened to me...

Cruising through the system towards dock, in Deep Space. Got a voice warning from the computer in my ship (solo mode), but I missed what it said due to loud people in the house. Is there any way to hear/see the warning? Nothing in the mail, log, etc...

if you have an engineered FSD you will sometimes get a computer warning that its operating beyond safety limits. mine does it randomly for no reason in all my ships. not sure if its limited to engineered but mine all are so...

I think this is a new bug, I've noticed there are certain systems where the safety message plays when crossing the same spot every time. It's supposed to only play when you supercharge it in a neutron star or white dwarf.

and im sure i heard it with an unengineered asp ex FSD after neutron jet boosting was introduced. and with me not doing it mainly because i had not read it was possible and the scary jets are scary. i seem to remember some threads about it in bug reporting back then too.

Late update, but I'm still getting the message, and it IS "Warning, Frameshift Driver operating above safe parameters" or some-such error. Random afaik, but I've learned to live with the idiosyncrasies of my ship going slowly the way of HAL9000....
