Shipyard near Maia?

Is there a shipyard out this way, was wanting to pull a few of my ships out here for upgrading/CG?

You dont really need a port. Store your engines, then transfer them when you get to Palin. As long as your ship is big enough but not TOO big, you will be fine with swapping them in.

Without meaning to criticise the people who wish there was a shipyard; this kind of thing makes me question the wisdom of introducing ship transfer in the first place.

I think Dommarraa was assuming (as I was) that you were going to Maia to engineer your ships. To be fair, that's why most people head out that direction, and why so many know 64 Arietis by heart.

If you're trying to transfer your ships there for some other reason, it's fairly awkward. You can summon all your ships to 64 Arietis, but without a shipyard there you can't even switch into a taxi-Sidewinder to go back and forth.
