Shipyard

Last question for now. How do I go about finding a shipyard so I may purchase the ship I need to get started on mining?

Different systems have various ships. The systems that are highly populated and industrialized and/or high tech will have more ships available for sale. There are also systems that sell discounted ships.

Playing on the xbox, with default control settings. Press Y > right on the directional pad > opens up system map > hover over the start ports and under the information tab on the left you will see a list of the different things the starport has to offer. Such as refuel, repairs, black market, outfitting and shipyards

Just find a random space station, launch the starport services and then select shipyard. But it must not be a a small spacestation (Outposts). Each of these big stations have different ships available for purchase. Normally High Tech systems have the "best" ships.
