Shipyards selling Type 7

So, I'm currently at a large population, HighTech, Refinery. The shipyard here sells 10 ships, except for the Lakon type 7. Non of the hightech, refinery starsystems in the area sell the Type7. Am I looking in the wrong systems?

Anyone know the best system type for which to by one?

Sry in advance for not having the desired answer... but do you really want a T7? Have you looked at a Clipper? 'Just' 5 mil more, but what a ship it is. I'm so glad I bought that ship instead of a T7. It can haul about the same cargo (220 tons with an A4 shield) at the same distance, but the Clipper is the second fasted ship available. With A6 thrusters, the thing goes 342 m/s and boosts 430 m/s. 4 guns. 2 heavy and 2 medium. Max jump range is 22 ly, 16 ly laden. Basically, it can do everything, and in style ;)

Was a bit over enthusiastic about the max speed. Its 342 instead of 355 :eek:
