Is this an impossible task? Once the shields are down on a python I can shoot out the drives quite quickly (from 1Km away), however I cannot budge the drive % on FDLs, one minute of shooting (with class 3 lasers and class 2 m/c) and it might drop 1% (in the instance where both ships are running and shooting from behind).
