Well, welcome to become AMERICANIZED!

The entire load of dumb ignorance, bigottery and hateful speech also reached Germany. Praise the lord!

I was afraid that all that sheit also starts in Germany, now we have school shootings for a couple of years and also "islamic " fanatised attacks. Holy moly. Great. And Turkia just rigt on turned into a Dictatorship, not one word from Angela Merkel. Aweeeeeeeeeeeeeeesoooooooooooooome!

It isn't really so much "americanized" as it is becoming biased, the general impression is that is spreading is that it is muslims that do this, and the 'normal' muslims aren't standing up against this kind of behaviour, entirely forgetting that the vast majority of those that die ARE muslims.

Though I totally understand people getting frustrated at hearing about a muslim terrorist, because we hear about it a lot, we just need to remember that the VAST majority of those dying are muslims, it just doesn't happen in our countries, but down in their own countries, which isn't news really since they have been at war forever.

So it ends up "terrorists hitting us" and muslims as a whole get blamed, I get it, I understand, it is an expected reaction, but dang the reactions our politicians have haven't helped, heck the reactions america has had on 'terror' hasn't worked either. More needs to be tried.

Almost no doubt. After the s and the thefts by hundreds at Christmas, after the attack with the ax in a train in Germany, the festivities continues in Germany.

Who the perps are is unclear. On of the perps claims to be german, no slang.

I work at a place in munich which is inmidst an area with lots of turkish / arabic businesses and restaurants. I eat there, i talk to them. A moschee is there. Those perps are no muslims, like those i life between.

I have a few friends in Germany. Hope they're okay. Haven't heard from any of them since the shooting. I don't recall where they are in Germany, unfortunately, or how near Munich they are.

Witness Reports Talk about the Culprit Yelling "**** Foreigner" and having Paratrooper Boots. Which is somewhat of an Trademark for Right Wing Radicals.
So Right now its more likely that the Culprit is a German Christian.

By now nothing is Clear of Course.
But given the Reports so far. It doesnt seem to be Islamist Terrorism but rather an Amok Run of some Psychopath.

While I understand why one might fear this, I think it best to not jump to conclusions until the local authorities have neutralised the threat.
