Shop theming score -1250 in all parks? Broken game mechanic?

My heavily themed shop is "scenery rating -1250". I've chcked across different parks and they all have the same rating. The scenery heatmap shows it as dark blue (i.e. very well themed). What's the negative score for? Is this just a broken game mechanic?

Nope this is correct, what you see is the single score of the facility. This has by default -1250. It is the 'light' version of the PZ where also every facility starts with a negative scenery impact.

What you can't see directly is the overall scenery score of a building. But it works more or less culmulative each scenery piece adds to the scenery of the area. (or in case of facilities subtracts)

I came looking for the same issue.
Although I understand @Valdo82 's explanation, I still fail to see the usefullness of this bit on information.
Also, I find it very difficult to believe the rating starts at -1250. When you place a ride with nothing around it the score is 0.
Anyway, I know it's not a proper solution, but you could always create a zone over the builging/s + scenery. And the zone info will display the rating. Now, if that information is correct I have no clue.
