Shoudl I buy it? Can I Run It?

Hey, I got the money now, I am ready to go ahead and click that purchase button. Just one thing, I want to make sure it will run on my laptop [blah]

here are my full specs:

Processor Intel Core i7-4510U CPU @ 2.00GHz
Video Card NVIDIA GeForce 840M (4 GB)
Memory 16 GB
Space 1 TB
Operating System Microsoft Windows 10 (build 10586), 64-bit

any help would be more than appreciated

thanks [big grin]

I am running it on my old and Phenom x2 1090 and with an AMD Radeon 7870 and 6gb ram. And it looks fantastic and still is running smooth with thousands of objects in it, with high graphic settings. They really optimized the game like ❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎ and it looks so good. Even read that it works fine with 4gb RAM and and even older CPU and graphics card

Super!! Thank you so much!!
I was asking because I went on a website to compare my specs to the ones required and it said that it didn't match, but I trust you guys

I will buy the game now!

Heya, glad to see yours are running well!
I have no knowledge whatsoever on computer specs so I'm basically asking the same question..

Am i able to run it with these specs?
Processor AMD A8-5500 APU @3.20 GHz
Video Card Radeon HD 7700 Series (Not entirely sure which one exactly, sorry! I think something up to 2 gb)
Memory 8 GB

I'd really like to know so I don't buy it not being able to play it :p

Thanks - Kelvin

your processor is fine but your gpu is below specs and your memory is right on the minimum. if you need help you can private message me and I can point you to the pieces you need to buy to run it.

Thanks for the quick reply, sad to hear about the gpu..

I'll check it out with a friend who knows a bit more about it then I do haha, thank you for the help !

I'm running some pretty low Specs, but it runs Smoothl and Perfectly. You can compare:

CPU
Intel Core i5 @ 1.70GHz
Haswell ULT 22nm Technology
RAM
8.00GB Single-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz
Graphics
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 850M
Storage
931 GB Wester Digital WDC (More then enough!)
Operating System
Windows 10 Home 64-bit

Yea.... Planet Coaster is a really fun game [yesnod]

I highly recommend pre-ordering the game AND getting the Alpha upgrade. It costs 49 British Pounds when I got it last month, equivalent to around NZ$103. That way you can enjoy the game NOW instead of waiting till later this year when they release the full game.
The game surprisingly isn't very buggy.

I have an HP 15-ab222tx white sleek laptop with 6th gen Intel Core i5-6200U, 8GB DDR3 RAM and 2GB AMD R7 M360 GPU. And it struggles to play this game on the higher settings. So this month I invested in a custom desktop gaming PC made by a special NZ company (I live in NZ). The game was overkill for my laptop, so I thought.... well I'll get overkill hardware to compensate. 6th Gen Intel Core i7-6700K high speed quad core CPU, Sapphire Nitro AMD Radeon R9 390 8GB GDDR5 GPU with bandwidth of 384GB/s, and 16GB DDR4-2400Mhz HyperX system RAM, and Kingston Fury HyperX SSD. The AMD Radeon R9 390 can play 2015 and 2016 games on 1920x1080 maxed out settings fine.
The game is CPU intensive according to Windows 10 Task Manager. My laptop has a 6th gen Intel processor, but it has a low 2.3Ghz base speed with turbo boost to 2.69Ghz according to Task Manager.

Could be borderline by the time the final release comes out. GPU wil probably be OK, but the CPU will be struggling.
