Should everybody that losers an anaconda get a re-buy refund due to the current bug that is possibly reducing anaconda hull hp by 25%.

Questions on this problem.

1. Is it just a Ui bud or is it actual?.
2. If it is actual has it been this way since the game was released and has only been exposed by the defence summary screen?.
3. Why has fdev not made any comment or known bug statment even though the problem is there for all to see since 2.2.03 went live?.

Getting killed is rebuy.. no rebuy, no ship.

unless its a known bug, then.. and only then people should contact support.

saying to everyone that loses a conda to contact them is nuts!!

No. But if they just spent $10 getting a skin job for an anaconda that took them 18 months to get, it might not be a bad PR move to let them swap it for a different ship that they'll get to quicker.

Most responders to that kid were "Them'sthe breaks kid, it's why you shouldn't leave without home the rebuy, it's a life lesson: Not buying insurance sucks when an accident happens". A few offered the advice to ASK FD for a free rebuy, but left it up to FD and would not think less of them for saying "Nope".

Why, if 25% of your hull is missing due to a bug that would sort of contribute to your loss dont you think.

Bit early to ask for a refund if you don't know if it's a UI bug or not yet. Even then, it's not much of an issue.

It certainly seems like a UI issue if two different parts of the game are showing two different numbers for the same thing. Whether that warrants compensation or not is not for me to say.

Well a confirmation from frontier will sort that out, as for losing one right now, can i asume your not flying an anaconda in PVP at the moment. If you are 25% of your hull may be missing so bear that in mind when you decide if your ships up to the task your about to embark on.

A simple confirmation from frontier that it is Ui and not actual will help clarify the situation, hence this thread. because right now us anaconda pilots do not know and thats the real problem here.

You shouldn't assume anything, any pvp fights I've lost in a conda I'm big enough to admit I would have lost anyway even with another 25% Hull.

As you say, it's a simple thing to wait for some feedback, for all you know you're blaming your losses on a bug that only exists between your ears :)

if its a bug it is more thab justified to contact them.

It might be an idea to revamp the rebuy a bit. If a cmdr does not have the funds at the moment, stall the ship till the cmdr has the funds.. especially now with engineers people put quite some effort into them.

Also think a PIN should be needed for selling a ship..

In case of the poor guy who lost his Conda after grinding for 1,5 years ... Give that poor soul his Conda back. It's just a computer game. So, it should be fun, not a pain in the bottom.

Nope.

For one, he chose to fly without insurance.
For two, he's (apparently) done this before.

Besides, who says you can only have fun in a 'conda? Some of the most fun I've had in-game was in my trusty Cobra MK III, although I've now logged way more hours in my Asp X.

That's because you seem to be changing to a discussion about hull when the real point is do you know if this is a real bug? If you do then contact support if not then there is no discussion. I suspect it's a UI bug as people would have likely noticed by now if for the entire game previously the conda had 25% less hull. That's a substantial amount, the balance of probability is that it's a simple UI bug with a new element they have added in a recent patch, if it isn't then feel free to complain all day to them.

I'm glad you win lots of battles, but that was never part of this conversation:)
