Should Frontier Update their Previous DLC Packs to 8 Animals?

I know that a similar post had been made a while ago, but I thought I would post a new thread following the news of the Southeast Asia Pack. This new pack looks the most interesting and that is simply because it is larger. I thought about how it now sets the bar higher for future DLC packs, and I wondered if people would want Frontier to go back to the other packs and increase the number of animals to 8? And what animals would you like to see? Or do people think that this is unnecessary?

Those other packs had plenty of pieces, new paths, new foliage... They won't update them with 3 new animals for free. They should focus on new packs which can always include animals missing from those packs (for example, an endangered species could bring us the Tasmanian Devil, a North America pack can bring the sea lion...).

It would be great but I also think they won't do it (maybe to sell the older DLCs better if the new one gets sold more often than the normal DLCs🤔). But I think if they would update them, we would mostly get Animals that are similar to Species that are already in the Game. At least I assume they would want to use more unique Animals for new Packs. But we could for Example get a Quanaco and a second South American Monkey for the South America Pack 🤔
I think one of the best Options to raise Sales for the Arctic Pack would be to include the Arctic Fox because many People seem to want it

I would say more animals are always necessary. It would be nice if they did add-ons but I think that's unlikely. I'd say the best we can hope for is that the areas covered by the packs might be included under broader themes like getting the caiman and giant otter in the aquatic pack.

It's a shame because with, for example, Australia just three extra animals could have made a much more representative pack and certainly I would be less negative about the dingo's inclusion.

Deluxe packs with 3 new species per every past pack would be very interesting and complementing them nicely. I would gladly pay for those.

Also I think that this could be an interesting idea for the future DLC. I would love them to keep the 8 animals in the pack for good.

But in order for them to do that and also add some building pieces they would need to increase the price which I don’t think that is going to happen.

So maybe they can create 3 animals deluxe packs to every another DLC payed separately?

Same here especially that first part. A pack of 12 animals (eeeh maybe 11 since we only got 4 in the arctic one in the first place). Up the cost to $12 USD or so since it is more than the 8 we're getting with SEA.

Arctic Fox is really the only big miss for me from the Arctic area, as I think Wolverines and Moose would not be for that biome? But by all means they could be included if they are acceptable for that biome.
Capybara, Ocelot, Maned wolf for SA; Tasmanian Devil, Wombat and Emu for AU; and Asian Small Clawed Otter, Cape African Penguin and Sea Lion for Aquatic (I know, it's another "seal", Penguin and Otter but the theme is limited comparatively to areas of the world) - I guess instead of those they could put in American Alligators and Beavers just for variety, along with the Sea Lion.

Yes, please, Australia and South America are two of my favorite continents for animals, so many great animals were skipped due to limited space (only 5), if they give boring Europe 8 animals I'm really sad... (I'm happy Asian pack got 8, many great jewels in there, but Europe doesn't deserve 8 animals, it could do with 1, Chamois lol.
Moose and Beaver maybe, but they are more common in America.

American Pack: Mountain Goat, Moose, Beaver, Roadrunner, Skunk, and some more.

Honestly at this point I'd be fine with just a regular 4 animal DLC for this sort of thing. Sort of a "missing pieces" deluxe pack, with one animal from each of the first four DLC's.

Something like
  • Arctic fox.
  • Capybara.
  • Tasmanian devil.
  • California sea lion.
I second that, but in the 7+1 style. So I'd take the four you gave, plus

  • Cape penguin
  • Wombat
  • Howler monkey
  • Alligator snapping turtle (exhibit)

I mean, eight animals would be ideal, but honestly I wouldn't mind if it was just four. It would be better than nothing after all, and I think it would be more palatable to Frontier who probably want to visit new areas going forward.

That said, I have a sneaking suspicion they might do something like this for their very last DLC before support starts to wind down. It would be a boon to the community for them to make a pack with highly-requested animals that never made it in prior, and focussing on the first few DLC packs would give it a sort of 'looking back' theme.
