Horizons Should I come back and pick up an srv?

o/

I'm currently halfway to the galactic core on an exploration trip, should I turn around now to get planetary gear? Are there things on the surfaces that will be rare/r and worth more money the further out you go like standard exploration data?

Absolutely it'll be more fun exploring. It slows you down but its fun to find unique moons you'd like to land on.

Supposedly scanning planets now you get more money as well.

Man I wish they'd improve scanning planets.. make a separate interface for it already.. something we can use to actually explore the solar systems and look at the data and then pick where to land.

Then give us a bonus for even landing on the planet with our SRV.

If you're planning on visiting Sag A, then aborting your trip to come back and get an SRV is an excellent way to make sure you never get there.

Awesome, thanks.

Na, wasn't going to the far side, just to the core and back.

I was 14kLy out when Horizons was announced. I didn't turn back. You can still approach planets close enough to get a feel for the terrain details. I was going to hurry back, but I think I'll explore the core for a while.
