..snip...
From a pure stats perspective, the Anaconda makes good sense.
Personally, I like to make use of the dedicated trade ships. Gets me in the right state of mind for trading. Right now, I've got a T7, a Clipper and a Python. By the numbers, I should just drop the T7 and use the Python for trading...but it just doesn't feel right.
It actually makes me wish we went back to the high fuel costs and the harsher Ship Integrity costs. Those two factors alone made trade ships worth the time as they are A) more fuel efficient, B) Cost less to repair, C) Cost less to replace and D) you get to encounter pirates more often (if that is your thing).
Oh, for gods sake.
I am talking about the same route for each ship trading the same goods. It is a one jump route for both ships. Each round trip takes 10 min. I am losing ~ 20 sec PER ROUND TRIP due to the T9 lower maneuverability to align with and get to my jump out point. That is the ONLY place where having the conda matters in this situation. I use FA off, Boost, blue zone, and have a specific way for navigating in SC so I always pop out pointed at the mail slot.
So I am spending an extra 1 min, 20 seconds PER HOUR with the T9. That means I'd have to trade for 8 hrs to get an extra round trip for 'free' from the Conda. i think this is at the core of your incorrect 'data'. Maybe you should go back and re-test.
I hope you get it now. I'm sure what else to say.
You can say that you admit you take ship X - configure it completely differently than ship Y - then claim that the very configuration you optimized for on one ship - but did NOT optimize for on the other - 'proves' it can make more CR/hour than the gimped ship.
You can also say that your piloting skills of the Anaconda and the Type 9 are quite the unique edge case scenario where on a 10 min round trip you can only shave barely 20 seconds.
You've lost all credibility with anyone that has piloted both ships. And yes, there's nothing else to say at this point - you just killed your own argument to anyone that has had the personal experience of flying both ships.
If thinking that makes you feel better about your flawed "testing", then there's nothing anyone can say to fix you.
LOL. If someone points out that you might be wrong about something, ignore them. Good luck dude.A reply with zero substance. How is my testing "flawed"? It's easy to spout simple words - what is your actual facts, data, and refuting test #s to support your allegation my testing was "flawed"?
People such as yourself that make simple, completely unsupported statements - that's what can't be fixed. Best to just relegate your kind to the National Enquirer pile since allegations with zero substantive facts are one and the same.

Minimum: 2X Re-buy after outfitting + enough for 452T of Imperial Slaves before you make the move. Plus it's a good idea to have a fall back ship like an ASP or better if something goes horribly bad on your first few runs. If you suffer a few early losses you'll be able to hop into something else for a bit to recover. It probably won't happen, but it's always better to have a spare ship you don't need than to not have a spare ship you need.
Either that, or you can always come back and start one of those threads about how unfair insurance and loans are and file a support ticket with FD and tell them it wasn't your fault you lost your stuff and get everything back from FD.

One thing to think about is the bebuy.
My T9 is a bit over 5 million with a 500t capacity, not sure what the Anna would be but I imagine far greater. Last night in my wisdom (well tiredness), I decided to get stuck in a station entrance then proceeded to get blown up.
The 5 mill wasn't so bad but I had another 5 mill of gold on board so it turned out to be a 10 million credit "bad" experience...
I would imagine this may have been a far more costly exercise in the Anna..
