I've just been doing bounty hunting lately, and I gotta say, the pay sucks. So you jump into a system, go to the nav beacon, extraction site, or just puck people out of supercruise, whichever, kill some wanted.
I might be lucky and get a line of anacondas and pythons fetching 50-100k each, but then there's a long drawn out period of killing sidewinders, and eagles with the occasional cobra.
I wanted to do something else, actual pirating maybe, so I decided to save up some cash carrying on with my viper to buy a fully fitted cobra, with rated A everything (almost). After I spent a few hours trying to break an extra million I figured this wasn't going to cut it, I was getting bored pretty quickly which led me to that grief binge in Lave yesterday.
So I bit the bullet, bought a Type-6, fired up BPC and headed out. I made one round trip which fetched me about 190k (not bad), but was half way cutting through my wrists after 15 minutes. So I re-bought my Viper (A rated) and am about to head back to Lave (160LY away ...), but what to do when I get there? There is really nothing to do!
