Should SteamVR be removed?

Anyone know if it is OK to have SteamVR installed as well as the Oculus 1.3 runtime? Will ED pick up the Oculus runtime in preference to the SteamVR stuff?

Apparently ED will ignore SteamVR if it is installed. Not tested myself, just going by other comments on the forum.

I would remove Steamvr just to be safe. there is no need for it that I can think of.

presumably we will need it for games not officially supported on the rift but are supported in steamVR?
