I think it would be really neat, not a necessity by any means, to test/check an NPCs voice before hiring them. However, I'd like to discuss/vet the idea here before submitting it as a Suggestion.
Should this be a thing?

Can't see a problem with the suggestion, as long as it works both ways and the NPC can reject the Commander. After all, what NPC wants to fly with someone who is only after their physical attributes and not their professional ones. Actually the whole thing is kinda creepy if you think about it …..
their looks are quite creepy... however some of the vocals are downright annoying too...
