Community Event / Creation Should we listen to Salome? Or should we shoot?

Well? What should we do?

Personally I would like to listen to what she has to say and protect her until we are given a choice. I don't want this to become the Elite version of what happened to Joan of Arc. And then there are of course the trolls, whom of which I am deeply afraid will shout YOLO and charge with their engineered FDL.[blah] I know there is a million credits on her head, but that's pennies in comparison to what can be earned.

And if you would like some extra shock these words are coming from a Hudson supporter. Yes a HUDSON supporter.

What about all of you? What do you think? Do you think this is a decent course of action? I will be attending the event myself with the above opinion in mind. As for all of you, discuss below!

Probably be far more interesting to support her, if she gets insta killed we might be left waiting for a while for a galnet story with the information she carries. Far more engaging to let it play out, and see what she has to say.

If i can stomach the 40+ jumps to 46 Eridani, i will be there to help on Saturday :)

"Well, I'm an Imperial, and generally a loyal one... but I'm nobody's lapdog. I've always believed Patreus was up to no good - he's almost as bad as Torval - and any enemy of his can't be all bad. Given that, I think I'd like to hear whatever she might have to say. 'Sides that, I've never been one to just do something - especially kill someone - only because someone else said so. That's probably an odd thing to hear from someone who's made as much of his living off the bounty boards as I have, but it's usually not that hard to find out if an 'alleged pirate' is an actual pirate - they usually show that answer one way or the other by their actions. I imagine the same is true for 'alleged terrorists'. So I'm of a mind to ask questions, and not to shoot unless the answers demand it. Of course, whether I can get close enough to hear any of those answers may be another matter. I suppose we'll see."

She is not Salome. She is not some sort of Holo-Vid hero. She is Senator Kahina Loren. Her father was one of the most viscous people that ever lived. He wiped out a planet and then populated it with slaves that he kept in the worst conditions possible.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Everyone must remember when Galnet went crazy over that demand to take back her planet after the slaves had liberated it. She wanted to steal back her planet regardless of the cost of lives. She was screaming like the selfish Imperial child she is.

I have no love for this Imperial brat. But if the Empire wants her dead then I want to know more about what's happening. So I guess I shall have to swallow my pride and defend her... Ask questions first, then shoot later.

What's it matter anyway? There will be so many trying to kill Salome that she's not got a hope. It will be chaos, many many rebuys and probably more salt harvested than in the entire history of online gaming.

enslave her. then you'll get all the answers you want, plus clean floors and a nice sandwich.

Do you really think someone like her will know how to clean floors or be able to make a nice sandwich? I doubt she'd be able to go to the toilet by herself.

I'm just a feeble old miner with little combat skills. This venture may prove costly to me, but it is the right thing to do.

Why not both : listen then shoot.

I'm more interested in getting intel than being the pawn of imperial politicians that cannot do the job themselves.
So I'll be content with the listening part. Do what you will after the listening is done XD.

Actually, that would be a fun way to circumvent the whole stuff XD

Well I thought about putting together a small security force of Anacondas. Sort of a temporary security force. Wave back crowds and whatnot.

Actually it sounds like the vast majority of players support her. It'll probably end up being just the hardcore pvpers opposing her which means it could end up being a bit of a farce.

Well that's comforting to know. At least we will out number them which will give us a good chance if it all goes to pot.

Always watch for the 5C in your trusted group.
In every movie/book they always show up to make things dramatic.

Although I generally enforce the law wherever I go (no pirate lives to tell a tale) :) ...her bounty isn't worth the time. Any idea how many imperials I can slaughter in conflict zones compared to the time it takes to find her....a lot

If we crossed paths I think I'd still have to hear her side, she is against my enemy I guess...

I'll be defending her as I want to hear this conspiracy laid bare. As in roleplaying- story trumps everything, so the more story, the better.
