Shouldnt we be able to land on pluto??

The atmosphere pressue is equal to what other odyssey planets are and has a methane atmosphere im suprised that they didnt add it to the game to be able to land on.

None of the planets or moons in our solar system are landable.

Some of the moons of Jupiter are surely, Europa, Ganymede, Callisto, all landable. Same with moons of Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. We also have moons of some minor planets, including Pluto, being landable, but it's likely Pluto itself has future content planned and landing is not allowed at the moment, maybe some time in the future. Also it's not true that none of the planets are landable because Mercury is landable.

There are currently 27 landable moons and planets in Sol

Mercury, Europa, Ganymede, Callisto, Enceladus, Tethys, Dione, Rhea, Iapetus, Ariel, Umbriel, Titania, Oberon, Triton, Charon, Orcus, Vanth, 2002 MS4, Salacia, Actaea, Haumea, Hi'iaka, Quaoar, Makemake, 2007 0R10, Eris, Senda, and Persephone.
Thats a lie you can land on almost all the moon in Sol aside from our moon, titan and the one that permit locked which makes sence.
Sorry... it seem i have unintentionally avoided all the planets/moons we can land on :ROFLMAO:

I think I landed on Pluto in Horizons, before Odyssey was released. There was a POI, a crashed ship.

I found a system map of Sol from that time in my screenshots. I see in it that either Pluto or Charon is landable and the other is not, so it was most probably Charon where I landed.

Yep Charon, been there, also Persephone is landable, you may have just picked the furthest out thinking it was Pluto, been done!

I imagine they were probably intending to do the larger planets properly at some point -- craters/mountains in the right places etc... -- but I doubt we'll ever see that now.

Pluto is by definition a "dwarf planet" or "minor planet," the two terms are interchangable, suggest looking it up.

Not everywhere. In the United States the Illinois Senate declared Pluto a planet in 2009.

The resolution said that Pluto was "unfairly downgraded to a 'dwarf' planet" by the IAU. Who the heck do these sciency people think they are anyway! Planets have rights!
