Horizons Shouldn't we receive a free ship, if we had upgraded ?

I had the impression that we will receive a free ship when we preorder and upgrade our version to horizion,
also a discount of 12.50.- EUR and a black paint
I RECEIVED the last two, but not the ship ...

OR WHERE COULD I FIND IT

There might be a Viper Mk IV floating about somewhere. Frankly, I haven't looked for mine though. If you are docked, it should be in your Stored Ships list, or be one of the red icons on your galaxy map.

Depends on your backer status though.

It wasn't a free ship. Just an exclusive one. You still have to find a station that sells the cobra mk4 and purchase it as far as I know.

That was the message when I bought it ... ?????

I suppose "added to your account" refers to your real life game account, not in-game ship collection. A bit ambiguous but nothing to get upset about, just find the ship in-game and buy it, it's not expensive.

I was going to submit a trouble ticket regarding this as I'm an alpha backer and here's what I found pertaining to this in the faq:

"Do I get the Viper Mk IV?
Everyone will be able to get the Viper Mk IV once 1.5 is released using in game credits, with no store purchase necessary.

Kickstarter Beta backers and above (Premium Beta, Alpha) will automatically have the Viper Mk IV added to their existing ship list for free as soon as 1.5 has been released. This is in line with a promise that we made to backers last December.

Lifetime Expansion Pass owners will also have the Viper Mk IV added to their existing ship list for free as soon as 1.5 has been released."

The 'exclusive Cobra Mark IV' they mention is not that the ship is given to you for free, it's that it's literally exclusive. Anyone who didn't pre-order horizons with the base game already purchased cannot buy this ship at all.

FD certainly made this clear during the Horizons promotion period. No surprises.

... except that the wording from the store says otherwise. It may well have not meant to say otherwise, but if I had upgraded with that wording, I would be demanding my free Cobra Mark IV. And then everyone else who was entitled to one, would expect one free, too. I expect a free addition to my fleet, even though I was perfectly aware that I was supposed to pay for it.

They won't be losing any sleep over it. It's not very desirable.
