Shoutout to all those nice CMDRs (from BP)

Hello,

I am a backer playing since before launch in 2014, but to be honest I mostly played in Mobius with only moderate interaction with other CMDRs, blazing my own trail and so on.

As the major big developments of the game will not surface before 2020 I decided to take part in the DWII expedition and reach Beagle Point yesterday in a Cobra (multi-purpose, with breathtaking 35ly JR, because I hadn't thought that through, really). I died 1 time in the beginning (after logging in on ground a CMDR shot me down) and later before WP 10 to a White Dwarf (canopy broke, lowest level of life support).

But this is not about to discuss DWII. This is about the community:

I have never experienced in any game or at any time before such a nice community as I found it in the PG and Squadron FLEETCOMM.

The chat was entertaining, the attitude of other CMDRs was not only friendly but often helpful, some examples: a special shout out to CMDR George Maidlow (convincing me not to give up after dying and loosing tons of explo data plus many jumps to be repated...) and CMDR Mad Max (who came some 1000LY back just to repair my hull close to BP), to name only two.

Then the fun we had at the mass jumps or just fooling around at WPs like: how many SRVs can you stack on a Cobra and how long can you stay on top with a flying Cobra...

Some pictures of CMDR interaction below.

I'd like to say thank you to all the organizers and all the nice CMDRs I've met. You really make a fantastic game like ED even more worthwhile!

I hope the Squadron will continue to exisit. It'll take me until September to return anyway...

Cheers,

Kathryn
