Been suggesting this for a number of years now... Just thought I'd mention it again.
So when someone takes the option to exit to menu and gets the 15s timer, show this timer to any/all other CMDRs in the instance (so it's clear what you're doing).
I'd also personally suggest if during this timer, the CMDR in question is hit/shot, the timer increase (just once) but another futher 15s to a total countdown of 30s...
NOTE: One of the biggest issues Pirates face is issuing instructions and then sitting there watching for 10 seconds wonder if the other CMDR is reading and obeying those instructions, or is now 10s through their exit to menu timer!
