Show galactic co-ordinates, galactic direction/orientation in flight, and a direction line in the galaxy map.

Would be nice if (even on a side panel) if you current galactic co-ordinates were shown, and also the direction (orientation) were shown.

I'd also suggest in the Galaxy Map there was an option to display a "Direction Line" such that a line was projected out from your current position in the exact direction you are currently pointing.

These two/three small enhancement would allow you to understand more easily where you are in the galaxy and indeed where you are even looking/facing.



ps: Suggestion posted in full knowledge it will never be considered at all...

Nice ideas. Particularly as ways to project your orientation into the galaxy map.
Several times I've spotted a star in the night sky, and wondered how to go about travelling to it.
