Games like SC make there crowd funding numbers readily available for all to see, are there regular updates for ED crowdfunding...Im very curious to see how far we've come since the 2.8mil USD from kickstarter...

Nope, that information was removed. There's a few threads around about it but, better to let a dead horse and all that.

In his address at the Nordic Game Conference David Braben briefly mentions that funding is now "approaching 3 million" (ref about 2min, 15 sec) but it's unclear whether he means 3 million dollars or pounds.

It used to be on the website front page and backers page during te early stages.

I think it sort of become irrelevant for 2 reasons:

1) The game became guaranteed, meaning from our point of view as customers, who cares....

2) They went pubilc and had private investors come in, both those things bringing in $ that dwarfed any pledge drive (wasn't it about $40m ? )
