Show me the players in my instance?

I will like to know how many other CMDR are in the same instance I'm in because most of the time I'm alone. Maybe the galactic map should show me where the party is.

Maybe good not to base it off the instance but rather globally.

Some sort of 'heat' map overlay for the galaxy map to show where populations are of CMDRs.

You can see the active players?
They are triangles on your map.

Being given access to every player/non-player in your zone defeats the purpose of being outside of your radar range.

Press '2' to focus UI on chat, and to the right of the comms box it will show every CMDR in radar range. If you had previously targeted them and done a basic scan for their name it will appear here. Otherwise it will just be their ship type.

I would like it if I 'Ping' the system (DaBOOMMMmmmm Discovery Scanner), it would light me up and every other CMDR up.
