Show "Shield bank generator" on the hud like Chaff is when they are not bound to a firegroup

I have my shield bank and my chaff launcher bound to keys, which are voice activated, so I do not have to have them bound to any firegroups. Chaff launcher still shows up on my hud, as it should but the shield bank does not. I never know how many charges I have left. Would be great if you guys could patch this in, doesn't seem too difficult

I prefer to count. Too much clutter on the HUD already.

That said, options are nice, but it's bad enough that my PDTs are always on the HUD. I know I have them, and 10k ammo takes forever to go through, so I'd just prefer to check my module page for ammo counts (which is where SCB ammo counts are displayed as well).

I don't have shield bank tied to a fire group. When I use it via button push, I see it pop up on the lower left side of my HUD (to the left of where weapons would be displayed) and it tells me that it's reloading and how many charges I have left.

It does disappear after a bit, though, if I have other modules installed that show up in that same spot. Pay attention to that spot when you use it next time, see if it shows up for you. Maybe you just don't notice it, but it's there.

You can bind both shield cell bank and chaff to its own buttons.

ive found this too, having the shield cell bank show with chaff/heatsinks on HUD all the time, or having a little window for these types of items would be great. using a joystick and having this mapped really helps with otherwise having 4 weapons groups and confusion over which buttons to hit.
