Re : Easy path to Elite ( https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/353418-Exploration-Zero-to-Hero-in-under-5-days )
(posted there, but decided to give its own thread)

GUYS !!! Each to their own ! Go on a proper trip or 3, or use pathfinder to get to Elite, it's the Cmdr's choice.
You all have something valuable and more important than the Elite Explorer achievement --->>> your Exploration Stats panel :)
I got to Elite the harder way,now I am going Credit hunting using EDPathfinder(so I'm doing both)

Lets see your stats panel and show off your numbers :D
Mine is not a biggy, 10000 systems visited, Beagle point, 12500 jumps, but I am PROUD of it ;)

hey thundernuns :)

So, my experiment in to making fast credits with EDPathfinder was a total failure !!!
I got bored off my "nip nips holders" :(
It was not the same. When I explore and get in to a system, and honk, that is when the fun begins :D
Looking at the system map to see what wonders I can find, and I don't care if I am not the first.
Fair enough if you need the credits, but I can think of at least one other way to make much more money/hour.

Keep it coming guys :)

Hey, might as well throw in mine too. Take a look:

I think that roughly 240-300 million of that profit was made since the 2.3 buff, and so was of course the highest paying system. It might have been Tr 24 Sector GL-P d5-4, but I wouldn't bet on it. In any case, it was an interesting system, one of the few where I actually scanned most of the bodies. (Except the tiny moons around giants.)

Also, I think that the distance travelled might be somewhat low for the number of systems visited, as I've fairly often surveyed nebula sectors for Earth-likes. Oh yeah, and I've never been to the far end of the galaxy, as I've always had more interesting places to check out first. I visited the extreme edge at the South instead, which was - and still is - much less visited. That 44k ly max distance was from a bit over 2,000 ly above the Ishtar region, done in a 42 ly (full tank) Imperial Courier, without double-boosting - so I'm fairly certain that if somebody wanted to go farther above there, they could. The view of that somewhat-unique region from that far above is excellent, too, so I'd recommend visiting.

And hey, maybe I'll have the highest CQC ranking here? Heh.

Oh, and is that a Beluga you're flying now, Chiggy?
