i am courios to see what ships you have upgraded or are still upgrading, because now every ship can be different. I will start with mine.
Its an Imperial Clipper with 33,5 LY Jumprange. Its not perfect yet, but already awesome. Here the up- and downsides:
+Clipper looks good
+Comfortable Range, like an pre 2.1 ASP (yeah they will go farther now). Still some room left, but i wont search chem manipulators any longer
+460 m/s Boost (5A thrusters with T3 clean drive tuning (dont want to add heat)
+Should be able to run from most dangerous enemys, so hopefully no need for weapons or defensive modules
+extremely manouverable in SC
+7B scoop scoops really fast and fast enough
+1 SRV
+2 AFMU
+64 Cargo (128 would also be possible with 6A scoop then)
-4D shields only good for landing, wont hold more than a few seconds of combat, but i alway just boost away
-3A powerplant with T1 mod barely enough energy with power management. Both AFMU, cargo scoop and planetary hangar are switched off by default. Planetary Hangar or cargo scoop can be activated when fuel scoop is off. AFMU needs thrusters to be off.
-still 5D Power distributor. Would love to get 4d with thrusters focus, but that would only add a tiny amount of extra range.
Its fun to fly and extremely comfortable when jonking. And the most important: Its not an ASP
