Shy Zookepers and Vets?

I sometimes read at the employee tab that the Zookepers and Vets do not like beeing watched by the guests while doing their work. How to solve this and what does that mean exactly? I mean how should they be not seen while they are cleaning and feeding the enclosure or the Vets boxing an injured animal?

They mean that their building is too close to guest areas , All staff buildings have an area around them that shouldnt have many if any guests in . Its kind of weird as any zoo i have been to the guests love to interact with keepers and keepers love being able to inform guests on animal welfare and let them see what their day entails

A couple of those staff buildings should have a lower area of displeasure around them. Like the Vet Hospital, and the Keeper Huts. The others should be away from guests. There are windows on the back of those two that guests should be able to look through, without either the guests or staff taking a negative from it. Hopefully they will adjust the negative influence, at least for those two buildings. Maybe the research and mech. research building as well. Though those two seem less important.

It’s pretty evenly split honestly, I work in zoos and some keepers love showing off their job to the guests while others feel judged when visitors watch them do certain tasks (for me which camp I’m in depends on what job I’m doing - enrichment and feeding I love having visitors nearby, cleaning and training I feel too judged and also that having visitors around can get in the way/distract the animals too much)

That said I find it weird guests don’t like seeing keeper areas. Most people love seeing keepers do anything related to animal feed

I had the same too with some vendors (probably other staff too but I didn’t check) and my staff buildings were away from any visitors. So it struck me as weird too.

Ah, okay. I thought just the guests were gettin upset about the staff buildings and not vice versa the staff getting upset about the guests. Good to now.
