Siamangs and Other Gibbons

Hey guys, what do you think the chances are for particular gibbon species being added into Planet Zoo, I have specifically highlighted popular species, ones in zoos as well, and I want to gather votes for which gibbon you guys want to see in the game. Just mention the name of the gibbons below via post.
  1. Siamang Gibbon: Endangered, in the wild: 22,000 - 25,000, inhabits Malay Peninsula and Sumatra, Indonesia
  2. Lar or White-Handed Gibbon: Endangered, in the wild: 15,000 - 20,000 in Thailand, 10 in China, inhabits Thailand, China, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia and Myanmar.
  3. Northern White-Cheeked Gibbon: Critically Endangered, in the wild: 455 in a park in Vietnam, entire population unknown, inhabits Northern Vietnam and Northern Laos
  4. Silvery Gibbon: Critically Endangered, in the wild: 4000 individuals or less, inhabits Java, Indonesia
  5. Mueller's Gibbon: Endangered, in the wild: 250,000 - 350,000, inhabits North-Eastern Borneo
Vote Now and I will collect the votes and see which gibbon of these five are most desired by the community

I definitely want a gibbon in the game, I think it's a very good fit for an Asian pack. I'd prefer a White Cheeked or Lar Gibbon (and they must come in the varying coat shades.). But I do have a caveat. While I want them, they must include brachiation.

Anyways, I will vote for....Lar Gibbon of the two I'd want to see.

I would love to have Gibbons in PZ! That is the #1 animal I really want to see in PZ right now since PZ came out. Hopefully it makes it in the Asia dlc were supposedly getting in April.

I would definitely love a Gibbon species in the game, the Lar Gibbon would be my choice, with the Northern White-Cheeked Gibbon as a second choice, but would definitely be happy with either.
However, as others have said without brachiation and a major overhaul of the climbing system, I'm not interested. Not a single thing has been done for Frontier's shameful Orangutan well over a year since the game being released, they pick and choose the things they want to address and simply ignore others. So until this is one day properly addressed, not interested in a running/jumping/buggy climbing/walking Gibbon.

I think that if either White Cheeked Gibbons or Lars are included in the game, it should be independently from Siamangs, no reason why we can not have both. The Siamang is anatomically distinctly enough and would be a fantastic addition to the game. Anyways I do hope for brachiation to finally make it into the game, sooner rather than later.

If the sun bear file in the frontier video that warned us about the upcoming aquatic dlc is an indicator that a Southeast Asian DLC is incoming (it would make all the sense in the world from a zoological point of view) then it is only fitting that gibbons will be added to the game, alongside brachiation, and hopefully even an overhaul of the Orangutan. That would be a dream come true. So much potential with Southeast Asia, alongside with Madagascar, those are two regions of this world that very prominent in modern zoos.

If they do add Gibbons to the next dlc I think it's safe to say that Frontier won't let the Gibbon animations go to waste and will apply them to the Orangutan. They will proabbly add the Siamang later down the line in another dlc to not put the animations to waste and we'll have more variety. Worse case of scenario there is always mods.

My bet would be on the Lar Gibbon, as it's found in a wider region than most of the others. I'd love to have Siamangs too but dimorphism makes the other one preferable. I definitely hope (and frankly expect) gibbons to come with the next DLC.

I can’t wait to make my Gibbon/Orangutan mixed exibit.
I would preffer lar Gibbon for the most. But i would be happy with any kind we would get.
