Sideways cruising

Whenever I engage my drives on the thrust bit on my thrustmaster t flight x joystick I go sideways...and when I set to go backwards I go the opposite sideways...

Any ideas?

You seem to have bound the throttle to lateral thrusters. Check your Control options.

You seem to have your thrust set on one of the lateral thrust vectors. In ed you have forward backward the u axis plus side to side thrust and up and down as well. Personally i have the throttle setup on the uaxis and the lateral thrusters setup on the hat switch.

I had the same issue with the same joystick [edit - it's a hotas thrustmaster] with the defaults on, which isn't great.

On the bright side getting you to go into the options to re-set them all and get familiar with them isn't a bad thing.

Confirmed had exactly the same issue with the same joystick, so I changed the Axis for the throttle.
