Sidewinder respawn

say i arrive and land in jacques station then selfdestruct and select respawn sidewinder option will i,

1) respawn back in the bubble
2) be able to buy back my ship using insurance cost

or will i have to just travel back?

If you do that you'll have to completly rebuy your ship you used to get there. You could buy a cheap ship in Jaques though and do it but your ship would be at Jaques.

Yes to both? Those are just the default respawn options no matter where you die. On an interesting side note there is a way to use that to have a fast travel option back to the bubble from jaques without dragging your ship back with you (for all you wishing to move your fleet to jaques).
1. Fly to Jaques .
2. Store ship and purchase 32,000cr sidey.
3. Self-destruct and chose free sidey in Lhs.
4. Repeat steps 1-3 until all desired ships are at jaques.

Or,wait a few weeks and use ship transfer.. It'll cost you though

Yes I use this to teleport occasionally - stash the ship you're flying at a local station, buy a cheapo disposable sidey or something, smash it into the station wall, decline the rebuy, boom you're back at the starting system & I have my fleet nearby.
