new player here ,have been interested in this game for a while and seeing as i had a joystick lying around i decided to give it a go,so far im very frustrated with the combat specifically the sidewinder training mission
i started by reading all relevent threads and watching some vids on youtube,watching what was beeing done it looked fairly easy to keep the enemy in your sights.one bloke had just pitch roll and throttle enabled and could follow the ship closely with ease keeping it nice and big in front of him. i seem to have a problem with pitching up ,no matter what the other ship just outmanouvres me with ease,the radius of pitch i have seems a lot less than other player vids i have seen on this training mission,am i missing something? i am useing a thrustmaster hotas x stick and keeping throttle in the blue zone,have tried up/down thrusters boost etc and have calibrated stick .have spent probably 8 hours on this mission and this pitch issue seems to be the only thing holding me back.
