Sidewinder vs Eagle vs Cobra

Hey,

Do all three ships pitch/yaw/roll at the same speed?

Do all three have the same shield capacity and weapon energy?

If you own one of the above, please can you time pitch/yaw/roll 360s, and time 0-60, weapon energy discharge from full to empty, top speed etc and anything else you can think of and post it here?

Or better still yell at me for not searching and post a link to where this has already been comprehensively done?

Sidewinder is the most maneuverable of the trio, but Eagle is the fastest forward. Cobra has more cargo, while Eagle and Cobra both have more hard points over the sidewinder.

In anycase, full statistics would be interesting to pick at.

The Cobra Mk III has a top speed of 280
36 Cargo
2x Class 4 Hard points
2x Class 2 Hard Points

The Eagle has a top speed of 240
4 Cargo
3x Class 2 Hard points

The Sidewinder has a top speed of 220
4x Cargo
2x Class 2 Hard points


Maneaverability I would say its Eagle then Sidewinder then Cobra

The eagle is the best at manuevrablity

The cobra, well at this stage is quiite awkward. I believe it supposed to be a jouster and an energy fighter but since enemies guns can track you across the map it plays badly unless you get the jump.

You need to change your tactics in the Cobra. Not met an Eagle I couldn't kill yet.

Saw you the other day Daffan, scooping Gold outside a station. There I was in my Cobra with no guns (sold to finance a trade run) and you in your little Sidewinder with a Wanted sticker on ID. Lucky boy
