Siege artillery 1 -2-3 or 4 unit will destroy whole region !!!

I bought several of these works. That's 900 for one. But it still offers a maximum of 4 bombing days.

I put 8 tanks there and in the battle I actually have 8 tanks in play on Verdun !

But the siege guns don't work. Not all four are working. Nothing's happening. The game is not programmed to use artillery.
The creators didn't think anyone would do this!

So there's only 1 cannon and nothing else.

Fix it and add the ability to bombard the whole thing with 4 guns instead of just one.

yeah about that...
see, siege artillery isn't the light and heavy artillery you're used to.
It's off map artillery.
While the artillery you usually see in the game on the map would be flinging 3.3 inch shells weighing18-20 pounds (8-10kg) at ranges of up to 6500 yards (6 km, or just under 4 miles)
Siege artillery has 9+ inches of barrel width, (Not length, width) The shells would weigh up to 1800 pounds (810kg) with ranges of 10'000 yards (9km, or 6 miles) and if it had a delayed action fuse could penetrate 40 feet (12 inches) of concrete and earth
.
You can spend 200 supply on the selector next to the airplane tab to call in a precision bombardment anywhere on the map. That bombardment won't just destroy any infantry company underneath it.
It deletes the trench line entirely

Now, I'm pretty sure that the concrete bunkers and the command bunkers will always survive a siege artillery bombardment. Which is also historically accurate
but if theres a trench line giving you more trouble than you care to deal with it is the map wide Ctrl Alt DELETE

And it can be yours for the low low price of 200 supply
oh, and each day of pre battle bombardment (costing 90 supply per "day" of bombarding with a max 2 days per siege artillery piece increases each enemy trench lines chances of being destroyed before you arrive and attack including any enemy soldiers that may of been in there

TGWWF and Mius Front are the two best games in the world. Only .....Scourge of War - Gettysburg with the graphics mod is better.

2 siege guns are, for me, too few siege artilleries. My minimum is 3 siege artilleries with a preferance of having 5. There is an upgrade on "logistics" that increases their "trench destruction" chance by 2%
Note that thats a 2% per day of bombardment.
1 Day: 5% / 7%
2 Days: 10%/ 14%
3 Days: 14% / 20%
4 Days: 19% / 27%
5 Days: 23% / 33%
6 Days: 26% / 38%
7 Days: 30% / 44%
8 Days: 34% / 50%
9 Days: 37% / 55%
10 Days: 40% / 60%
11 Days: 43% / 65%
12 Days: 46% / 70%
13 Days: 49% / 75%
14 Days: 51% / 79%
15 Days: 54% / 84%
16 Days: 56% / 88%

For me, about 30-40% of bombardment is premium. It smashes enough of the trenches that both me and the enemy must go over the top repeatedly, but keeps enough intact that I can take cover and hold my ground. But each player will have their preffered style and I know a lot of people think that siege artillery is not worth the gold nor the supply.
