Sign Right On Commanders!

There doesn't seem to be any list of the various Commanders anywhere on this forum so nobody knows who anyone else is in the game!

So without further ado I am starting one. If you want to be added to the list of Commanders who would be willing to receive friend requests from within the Elite Dangerous game itself (doesn't mean you have to accept them!), just stick your Commanders name, forum name (and real name/Facebook/Twitter page if you wish) so that people know who you are, and what you are called in the game and I will endeavour to copy and paste them into some sort of ongoing list which hopefully will be sticked somewhere on this forum by a mod.

Iam on it. As my forum name and CMDR name differs and as well on FB.

Iam just using my FB to keep in touch whit my friends.

A better way Nigel would be to start a facebook group around friends and the game.

slight problem for me there as my real name is my cmdr name and i would prefer not to post that here, shame there isnt a better search function in the friend requests bit, otherwise you'd find me with the first 5 letters of my forum name.

Yes I can see it might be better just to list Forum and Commander names, its after all up to the individual whether they want pass over any other info themselves between their friends. There is actually a list already on the Elite Facebook group which made me think about it also for here. Probably wouldnt hurt to show where you are located if you want - might be interesting to have a list split up by location? Dunno. We will see how it goes.

Ah its already been done I must have missed that. Feel free to close this thread then mods! I will have to add my name on there then - if its not on already knowing my memory it will be on there from ages ago!

The problem is that the lists tend to get out of date unless the originator keeps on top of them. I don't know if the one that was listed by ZeeWolf is out of date, too.
