Silencing the "4...3...2....1... engage..."

Is there a way to silence that countdown only??? I mean I don't mind the chick calling my thingy a "Friendship" drive.. but man!... that countdown is like chinese torture....

Not 100% sure that what you want to silence is in there but a patch or two ago they added toggles in the sound setting for different ship speeches.

No it isn't specifically there (maybe I just haven't found it?)... but if there was a way to just substitute the sound file... :S

Happened to me quite a few times that she said "Ready to engage" and whoop I'm in hyperspace. Only occours occasionally though. Mostly, when you're far out from a system and going at high speeds in supercruise.

If I make more than one jump in a row, she only say, and engage...? so I got nothing I want to change.

On the track: When she says "Shields offline" and "Shields online" it's sometimes a bit difficult to distinguish - especially when my cannon is firing rapidly, or dozends of enemy projectiles are penetrating my hull. Can't she say "Shield Up" and "Shield Down"? I know she's girlish ;) But keep information concentrated, in words as long as neccessary and as short as possiblle.
